Description:

CM Collaborative completed a first-generation tenant improvement for Rocket Fizz at Bridge Park in Dublin, Ohio. The project was originally fully designed and engineered when the owner approached CM Collaborative with the challenge of bringing the project within a budget that would allow construction to move forward.

Through value engineering and redesign, CM Collaborative reduced the construction cost by 12.2% while maintaining the intended aesthetics and functionality of the space. Key revisions included fixing the 2” grade difference by sloping the interior floor as opposed to reworking the hardscape and sidewalk on the exterior.

CM Collaborative also worked directly with the owner to help secure project financing and navigate the challenges that had initially prevented the project from moving forward. The result is a completed 1,819 SF Rocket Fizz location that demonstrates the value of a collaborative approach to design, budgeting, and construction.
